So our first meal back home from the cruise had to be miraculous... The food on the ship really made for tough competition, but who could go wrong feeding a "food loving man" spaghetti? :) And for dessert? Warm, fresh baked, oatmeal chocolate chip cookies! That's right! Here they are; pictures of our first home cooked meal. How do you think I did? I'd love to hear about the first meal you remember cooking your husband!!!

Honey Child, you're gonna' spoil that man...LOL Looks like he had a wonderful first meal that his wife cooked. You did good!! But he'd already bragged about the brownie, cherry, ice cream dessert you made for him before you were married. He wasn't worried about getting a good cook. LOL
It's been so long ago, I don't remember what I cooked my husband. I do know I wasn't a very good cook (I'm still not) but the men in our family aren't that choosy. They'll eat anything.
Love ya!
Well, it looks pretty good to me. I love spaghetti, and I'm sure he loved it as well. And the cookies look yummy!!
The first thing I remember fixing for my (husband to be) was fried eggs. He laughs to this day (50 years later) that they were so tough he had to cut them with a knife, and he's not kidding. I have since learned to fix them the way he likes them;)
We will be celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary on July 3rd, and my cooking has improved over the years;))
Best wishes on a happy married life together~~~~
Hahahaha...I cooked Troy hamburger helper! Can't go wrong with that...and I believe I shall whip up some helper tonite as well! *grin*
Hello..I found your blog thru Ancient One's blog...
I got married on April 4th, 2008 and the first thing I cooked for my husband when we got back from our honeymoon was tacos along with homemade salsa(I had just gotten the receipe from a friend)It was a simple meal since we were both worn out from traveling!!!
I don't remember what our first meal was, but I do know that I used to cook way more back then than I do now. Your spaghetti meal looks wonderful and your hubby has always bragged that you know how to cook, even before you two were married!
